Sir David of Bruce was once a classmate of Graham's at the palace school in their youth. David was known for being clever, yet unduly harsh. He described the future king of the Daventry as "forgettable the moment you saw him".
David originally hailed from Port Bruce in Llewdor, but may have stayed in Daventry past his schooling. It is possible he is the one who carved the words "David is here" into the counter of the Purple Pig tavern in the Town of Daventry.
