Restless spirits, shades have entered Hades but cannot rest. They are also found in the world of the living near places where the Gates of Hades can be summoned. Like most undead, they can drain the life energy of mortals who come near to them. They also throw powerful magic spells, making them similar to wraiths although much more mobile and therefore even more deadly. Even in close combat, their ghostly touch is a deadly weapon in and of itself.
