Phinneas Smite was an author of horror tales, until his own stories scared him to death. He was buried in the Ooga Booga Cemetery where his headstone reads:
"The strange author Phinneas Smite
Liked to lurk in the shadows at night.
He'd write hideous tales
Of green monsters with scales
Until one day he just died of fright."
