King George IV was the king of the Sovereignty of Serenia. He is the father of Princess Priscilla, and issued a reward including her hand in marriage for rescuing her from Harlin the Malevolent. The Wanderer refused to marry her, and so she ended up marrying Kenneth the Huge.
King George is no longer the ruler of Serenia, and Kenneth and Priscilla have earned a reputation as fair and just rulers.

King George is mentioned on the backcover of The Wizard & the Princess. The name 'George IV' originates from the King's Quest Companion, 2nd Edition.
