The Fox, with her magical ability to speak, serves the Dryad as a messenger of sorts. However, like all wild animals, she too can become prey for the folly of mankind. The Hero found her caught in a trap along Spielburg Road. He freed her, and by way of thanks she left with two words of wisdom: the first, a tip that the Dryad would be able to help the aspiring hero; and the second, advice.
