Bruno was a thief, originally hailing from Spielburg, with an extreme skill with poisoned daggers. Bruno had a notably hostile disposition to almost everyone, though he was extremely knowledgeable about the less-than-legal happenings around Spielburg Valley.
Unbeknownst to the Chief Thief, Bruno was working with the Spielburg Brigands -- informing on the Spielburg Thieves Guild to their foes. He was also secretly plotting to overthrow the Brigand Leader with Brutus, who he would pass notes to in the Aces & Eights Tavern. The unknown hero disrupted all of Bruno's plans when he released the Brigand Leader from the enchantment on her.
Some time later, Minos hired Bruno as a cloaked assassin. Bruno traveled to Silmaria and killed King Justinian, as well as the Chief Thief of Silmaria. He entered the contest to become the Chief Thief of the Silmarian Thieves Guild. When Elsa von Spielburg and the Prince of Shapeir both came to Silmaria to compete in the Rites of Rulership, Bruno began to seek vengeance against them as well.
At the behest of Minos, Bruno slew Kokeeno Pookameeso and Magnum Opus, as well as several members of the Silmarian Guard to shatter Dragon Pillars. He also attacked Ugarte, who was rescued by the Hero, when the thief obtained information that could have been used against him. He also injured Rasha Rakeesh SahTarna in an attempt to kill the Hero from a distance. Finally, during the Rite of Justice, Bruno revealed himself to the Hero and the two battled. Although Bruno was able to strike the Hero with a poisoned dagger, he was ultimately slain in the fight.
