The Borgov Family were once the boyars of Mordavia, put in place by a nearby king. They ruled the valley from Castle Borgov for roughly 250 years, until Sergei Borgov joined the Cult of the Dark One and abandoned his position. Although he was said to be the last member of the family, some believe that Katrina was distantly related to them.
The Borgov Family Crest is comprised of several colors -- blue, orange, red, green, and violet -- and can be found in many of the locations that the Borgov family owned. This includes the Borgov Crypt as well as the castle itself.
