Acteon is a well known Draenei hunter residing in Azure Watch on the Azuremyst Isles. When young adventurers met him in the settlement, he recognized the name they were building for themselves. He suggested they try hunting Moongraze Deer, which closely resemble the Talbuk of Draenor. When the adventurers had gathered several Moongraze Stag Tenderloins, they returned to Acteon. He was pleased, and rewarded them by teaching them to cook the meat into Roasted Moongraze Tenderloins.
After completing this task, Acteon challenged the adventurers to return to him with Moongraze Buck Hides, a more formidable animal. While they hunted, he used hides he already had to craft Moongraze Fur Cloaks and Moongraze Hide Boots that they could choose as a reward.
He also sent one of the adventurers, a hunter like himself, to an audience with Huntress Kella Nightbow at Valaar's Berth in the hopes the young hunter would soon find a pet.

Acteon is a level 10 NPC from World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade who serves as a quest giver and a hunter trainer. He is likely named after the mythological Actaeon, who was believed to have incurred the wrath of the goddess Artemis and was killed by his own hunting hounds, who thought he was a stag.
